Dear Area 8 Members,

Because of health concerns due to COVID-19, the Area 8 Festival, “More Than Meets the Eye,” scheduled for June 18-20, 2020, has been cancelled as of Friday, April 24, 2020. Because of this unfortunate turn of events, we will not be together in June.  We look forward to future handbell events when we can again gather and make music. Advertising & Sponsorships Opportunities

Advertising and Sponsorships

Area 8 is offering advertising and sponsorship opportunities to all who would like to help support the Area 8 Festival and promote their organization or ensemble. Options include printed logo on the conference bag, providing items to be included in the bags, sponsoring conference bag items which are purchased by Area 8, advertisements in the program book, and Festival sponsorships. The full list, with prices, is included in the downloadable PDF. Cash donations ($25 and above) will be recognized in the program book.

Vendor Opportunities

Join us in Overland Park, Kansas, June 19 and 20 as a vendor during the Area 8 Festival. We are expecting more than 250 festival participants, and have scheduled in several shopping times, including a dedicated shopping time on Friday evening.

Friday, June 19:

  • 9:00am – 11:45am
  • 1:00pm – 3:30pm
  • 6:00pm – 8:00pm: dedicated shopping time

Saturday, June 20:

  • 9:00am – 11:45am
  • 1:00pm – 3:45pm

Vendors will be able to attend all concerts. New this year in the schedule is dedicated vendor shopping time! We will hold drawings for door prizes donated by our vendors during this time.

Booth space will be in a secured room,  and a 10-foot x10-foot unit space can be rented for $100. This includes two 6-foot x 1.5-foot tables, table skirts, back and side draping, 2 chairs, a wastebasket, an ID sign, and wireless internet. Additional tables are available for $10 each.
